This luxurious Sandalwood fragranced hard shaving soap comes in a beautifully handcrafted wooden bowl for a smooth and close shave. This Shaving Cream makes a notably silky and creamy lather whilst protecting and moisturising the skin for a better shave. You can place the cream on either the shaving brush or on the palm of your hand and then apply it to your face, use the shaving brush to work up a lather.

If this is the first type of soap/cream you buy other than aerosol shaving creams types you'll never go back. The shave you'll have is simply a lot less irritating. The package is a finely crafted durable screw-top that seals up nicely. You can even use the lid of the jar to lather up. A single jar ought to last you a very long time. One container can possibly last you practically a year.

Lather:

This product whips up an amazing lather. Use a brush but even only lathering up in the palm of your hand with your fingers and this cream works superbly, far better than the mass-market gels and creams you purchase at the grocery store. A penny size dab in a lathering bowl, a few of swirls with a shaving brush affords you a thickly rich lather that assists the razor glide easily over your face. You get a great shave without irritation. Provides lots of protection and is just plain easy to whip into a nice lather.

Scent:

In one word, Excellent! It has that sort of mysterious old fashioned barbershop kind of scent, clean, manly and sophisticated. It will remind you of the old barber shop of days past or even your Dad. The fragrance isn't overpowering at all, and leaves you smelling good. The aroma is wonderful and will always be noticed by your lovely wife. This shaving cream should be used with a top quality brush ( a badger brush) for maximum effect. You won't go wrong with Taylor's Shaving Cream and you can even savour your morning shave just a little more!! !

Feel:

It also leaves the skin soft and supple without any of the burn that those minty type oils tend to give. A shave takes just a small amount of the soap but it lubricates incredibly well. It feels great and the texture of the cream is rich and luxuriant. It makes the labour of shaving more delightful. Your face will still feel soft and silky smooth even after 12 hours. The warm-buttery feeling on your face of this Sandalwood lather will be the clincher.

Cost/Value:

This product ends the quest for the best, yet paradoxically most economical, shaving lather you may receive. The tub lasts forever and a day...

You will barely be able to tell if you've used any at all, even after some weeks. It's creamy, makes gobs of lather from simply a swab on the brush, and lasts for a long while. The shaving outcomes are excellent and a large jump from those cheapo creams you find at the supermarket.

You may still have about a quarter of this can left even after 10 months of use. A little goes a long, long way. You use only a tiny amount per shave, so the premium you pay up front is paid back by the fact that it lasts 4-6 months. It's difficult to believe that this stuff is so cheap-even with everyday use it will easily last 6 months.

Quality:

If you are going "old school" with your shaving, this is the means to do it. First, your wife will love the smell it leaves on you, and if you're not one for colognes, this has a great, masculine smell without being "perfumey". Inferior products are like shaving with wet watery soap whereas this cream creates a nice rich lather. Just so you understand, as you open this up you're not looking at a bowl of solid soap, this is in fact a tub of very creamy lotion. All you have to do is merely dip the tips of your badger hair brush in the lotion and then lather it up in your other hand if you like and then apply it to your face. A bit old fashioned maybe, nevertheless still a great and delightful manner to shave. There's just no comparison to the stuff that comes out of a can. It's warm, creamy, velvety, smells impressive, doesn't get all over your hands, and of course, works well as a lubricant for the razor.

It does ring true to the Taylor reputation of a smooth shave. If you are a first-time user for genuine shaving creams, "you'll use this once and never return to store or generic brands again"! You may experiment with others like Proraso, Art of Shaving, Truefitt and Hill, etc. although you won't return to Gillette!

This will provide you with a luxurious shave that makes wet-shaving well worth the additional effort.
