Well, this sleekly designed and easy to use body groomer is just the ticket to safely and professionally get the look (and feel) that we want.
What I really liked about the BG2040 is that all the attachments are on the shaver. This means that if you want to use the comb attachments to shave hair to a certain length you don't have to hunt down or even change anything on the shaver. Its all there already, and that's great! Unless of course, you really like buying shavers with like twelve attachments. The shaver was designed for all areas of the body. It really does do a great job, all over.
Appearance and Design:
It's stylish, it's light-weight, it gets the job done. This model is great, a metallic cover with rubber grips is nice to hold. The groomer is lightweight and curved perfectly to fit your hand. The Body-groomer is a sleek and stylish product that works as well as it looks.This is the first one that is double-ended. It is heavier then the earlier models. The advantage of having the large handle is it helps to reach those odd and hard to reach areas of your body, (think back of you legs, butt and back). It runs quietly.
Shave:
The pivot head is one of the Key additions that makes the model superior, reduces any possibility of cuts . This is the first one that is double-ended. Analogous to a chainsaw cutting down a forest, the trimmer end of the unit is for areas with long hair. Also to that of a lawnmower, the shaver end of the unit is for shaving hair completely. The grip and length of the shaver are engineered to help you have a good reach, as well as effective arcing motions while you shave. However, if you need to shave the middle of your back, you may need someone to help you, as this device is not quite long enough to reach.Shaving your backside, but it worked fantastically. No cuts, no razor burn. I feel completely safe using it. Great sized head for getting all the nooks and crannies.
Battery:
The groomer comes with an equally stylish charging stand.
The groomer itself has a battery power indicator, if you have had any Body-groomer without one, you must know how annoying it is to not have enough juice to get your job done. The light indicates charging, low battery power and a full battery. It recharges fairly quickly and holds its charge well. The battery life is more then sufficient for an entire body use ( about 35mins fully charged). The charger stand also folds flat which makes the entire system easy to store or pack for travel.
No irritation or redness after use or the next day. It's the ultimate for grooming your most private area. I love the fact that I can "manscape" without pain. This has not cut me a single time and since there are some pretty sensitive areas, that's an awesome thing. Not one nick, cut, pull, or irritation.
Plain and simple, it's the best by far.
